    Dear all,

    We have an open INTL profile search for a Consulting Company, which is leading a worldwide Supply-Chain transformation programme (Transports Sector): SCM Senior Consultants are required, to lead a major SCM standardization project. It's a medium to long term assignment, open to free-lances or future employees.

    SCOPE :

    Assignment is taking place in the industrial manufacturing sector (Transportation Leader) in a context of a global end-to-end Supply-Chain Transformation.
    You will work on the large-scale transformation program and will be co-responsible for the budget, governance, resources, project methodology, processes and planning. 
    You will be responsible for the global project management right implementation, ensuring everything is completed within the defined scope, quality, time, and cost.

    Other responsibilities include but, are not limited to:
    • Successful relationship building and maintenance with project stakeholder, both internal and external, and keeping the process of information streamlined to ensure timely delivery
    • Analysing the risk, as well as establishing the contingency plans and identifying trigger events and responsibilities for the initiation of mitigating actions
    • Ensuring that work is fully integrated to the overall Program plans at all times, as well as following the standards and processes for change management and version controlled as established by the PMO.

    You have a solid consulting experience in major Supply-Chain optimization projects; a proven success tracking record, from your previous assignments and, you are recommended by your Clients / Colleagues.

    o Solid PMO / Project Management background preferably with a minimum of 6+ years’ experience.
    o Knowledge of the Transportation Industry (Automotive, Railways, Aero, etc.)
    o Large scale SCM implementations track record
    o S&OP (sales plan, production plan, inventory plan, customer lead time (backlog) plan, new product development plan, strategic initiative plan and resulting financial plan)
    o Experienced with all aspects of the system implementation including, but not limited to, Change Management and Continuous Improvement (we need “hands-on / shop floor doers”)
    o Managed project teams
    o Addressed important business cases with high stakes.

    Functional Skills
    o Experience in Supply Chain Management / Manufacturing is required
    o Experience with gap analysis and strategic roadmap / blueprint development
    o Deployment & Release management experience
    o Budget management experience
    o Experience within a delivery program management lead role
    o Strong process orientation with significant attention to details

    Deep S&OP knowledge
    You will manage the S&OP processes and support the Sr. Supply Chain Management as S&OP process focal point. 
    o Develops S&OP deck published to senior management.
    o S&OP meetings facilitation and collaboration.
    o Researches business issues to define risks / opportunities.
    o Provides deep dive analysis of red and yellow KPIs and facilitates resolution and action plans for the issues.
    o Works closely with Demand Management team to assess red KPIs
    o Key User for the Sales and Operations Planning Process 
    o Supports / Manages Consumer Care activities that Support Sales and Operations Planning and best practices: 
      ⇒ Support ABC/Product Segmentation analysis.
      ⇒ Support Statistical Safety Stock Process.
      ⇒ Manage Supply Chain Risk Assessments.
      ⇒ Monitoring the Monthly Demand Forecast changes. 

    o Monitoring Forecast accuracy and customer service KPI’s (Error, Bias and Lag Analysis) for impacts to Supply Planning
    o Manage S&OP activities that provide analysis which drive business decisions relative to improving Service Level, FCA, efficiency, and customer service via streamlining processes and cost saving projects.
    o Leverages industry best practices and continuous improvements to continually enhance S&OP processes. 

    SCP (Supply Chain Planning)
    o Forward-looking process of coordinating assets to optimize the delivery of goods, services and information from supplier to customer, balancing supply and demand.
    o Experience with transactional systems to provide planning, what-if scenarios analysis capabilities and real-time demand commitments, considering constraints.
    o Typical modules include:

      ⇒ Available / capable to promise
      ⇒ Sales and operations planning / integrated business planning
      ⇒ Collaborative planning (including forecasting and replenishment)
      ⇒ Vendor-managed inventory / direct point of sale
      ⇒ Event planning (promotion, life cycle)
      ⇒ Demand planning
      ⇒ Inventory planning
      ⇒ Production/factory planning and scheduling
      ⇒ Distribution planning (unconstrained, distribution requirements planning [DRP] and deployment)
      ⇒ Strategic network design
      ⇒ Inventory strategy optimization (simultaneous, multitiered)
      ⇒ Supply planning (optimized, DRP and deployment)
      ⇒ Production / multi-plant capacity planning (master production scheduling, rough-cut capacity planning)

    Production Planning

    o Hands on experience in projects with focus on Production Planning with knowhow on Planning Strategies, Production Process, Capacity Planning
    o Basic knowledge on integration with Warehouse Management is desirable
    o End-to-End implementation experience in Sales & Operations planning, Demand Management, Production Planning, MRP, Production Execution is desirable
    o Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage blueprint workshops / meetings with internal and external clients
    o Responsible for defining the scope of a project / opportunities, estimating efforts and project timelines
    o Providing a creative source of ideas/solutions to address problems

    Investment Management
    o Assist our Client in determining a suitable and appropriate asset allocation strategy by considering investment time horizon, risk tolerance, objectives and cash flow needs. 
    o Establish appropriate asset allocations, andn proactively adjust those allocations and strategies depending upon changing market conditions.

    Soft Skills

    o Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
    o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    o Strong executive presence and ability to interact at stakeholders level
    o Mentors team members in technology, architecture and delivery of applications
    o Successful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities are required (you’ll have to “fit with the Management Consulting Company, in charge of the contract)
    o Creates a shared sense of direction and community among the teams
    o Proven ability to transfer knowledge, to lead a project team and, to set the pace
    o Time management skills are a must; as well as the ability to be flexible and creative
    o College degree in a related area of study, with advanced degree highly preferred
    o A strong track record of professional success, preferably in the Consulting Services arena

    SAP knowledge of MM (Material Management); PP (Production Planning); WM (Warehouse Management); PS (Project Systems) is a plus, as well as some knowledge on Primavera P6.

    The candidates will receive required briefing and onboarding support on Company’s values, approach and tools prior to getting started on the assignment.


    SCM Senior Consultants with great experience in managing end-to-end Supply-Chain transformation projects (key topics: S&OP Supply / Demand Planning, SCP, Production Planning, Logistics Process Re-Engineering, Inventory Management, Investments Management, Warehouse and Distribution, Supply-Chain Performance KPIs and Supply-Chain Best Practices).

    CLIENT : 

    The Client is key actor from the Transportation Sector who’s conducting a large Supply-Chain Operations Improvement Programme in a multisite and complex environment.


    The project simultaneously takes place in GermanyUSA*FranceUKSwitzerland and other locations, worldwide.

    * The US candidates will need to have a valid work permit, prior to applying.


    800 to 850 € daily fee (expenses reimbursed).
    A variable “success fee” part will be applied.


    Fluent / Native in English is mandatory.
    German is required for the Swiss and German regions.
    French is a big plus.

    START / END :

    Early 2019 for 6 to 18 months +/-.
